Foras DC series solids handling pump have a recessed impeller to pass solids in suspension, including rags and fibres. For heavily contaminated wastewater we recommend the Foras FRT series pump which features a macerator/cutter assembly on the pump inlet which reduces solids down to 6mm dia. This enables use of small bore polythene discharge pipe to save capital costs and provide project flexibility.
